Terms of Use
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms cover the YouRiff iPhone app. They supplement Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Contact support@youriff.app.
YouRiff Pro
YouRiff Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. The length, the price, and any free trial are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in Settings on your iPhone: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then YouRiff. Any unused portion of a free trial, if one is offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing, so YouRiff cannot cancel it for you. Steps are also on the support page.
Chord charts
Chord charts are generated automatically and are estimates. They can be wrong. In the app you can change the capo, the key, and how simple the chords are.
YouTube
By using YouRiff, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). You also agree to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/api-services-terms-of-service).
Songs from YouTube play in the official YouTube player. YouRiff does not download or redistribute that video or audio. Only upload audio you have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, try to reach someone else's data, or interfere with how the app runs.
Disclaimer
The app is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
